The One where the Sun Disappeared

My flight left Beijing at 2pm 4th December and I arrived in Frankfurt at 5pm 4th December. No, it wasn’t a 3 hour flight, there’s a 7 hours difference between Frankfurt and Beijing, and its 10 hours behind Sydney. The 10 hour fight was so painful. There wasn’t a TV screen in front of each person, but a massive projection at the front. I could barely see it. =T

But I saw next to this lovely German old lady, who spoke a few words of English. We tried to have a conversation but it was so hard.

When we got off the plane, I looked for signs that would point us to the directions of our luggage. But I couldn’t understand the sign above me. It kinda looked like English, so I assumed it was German. But then I looked at it closer, it was English, the sign was just upside down. D:

At Frankfurt Airport, my Dad got stopped once again but this time it was by customs who questioned him about what was in his luggage. I mean everyone else walked by fine, only he was stopped. ._.

The Hawaiian shirts are now gone and they are replaced with very thick jackets. It’s so cold here and the days are very short. I have yet to see the sun. I would wake up and the sky would be pitch black. You’d think it’d still 2 in the morning but then you look at clock, it’ll be 8am and it’ll get dark at 4pm. I swear I’m constantly feeling so sleepy. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or the fact that it gets dark so early. But my dad says its cause the heater is always on, which means there’s no fresh air, so I always feel tired.

But otherwise Germany is awesome! Here are some discoveries I made during my dates with Frankfurt:
  • The air is so clean.
  • Traffic actually stop for you.
  • The streets are very narrow so people generally own small cars and do ridiculous parking tricks.

and sometimes they let you park on the side walk
  • On some highways there are no speed limit. Once we went 260km/hr. Its actually quite scary. I mean that's more than 3 times my legal speed limit!
  • Blankets are offered if you choose to sit outside for a coffee.

  • There are over 100 free TV Channels in a variety of different languages.
  • They have markings on the glasses so you know how much your getting!

No Asians can rip you off here!

  • Sausages are HUGE! The have to be halved to fit inside the bun. That just sounded very dirty.

  • Christmas market are very pretty

  • They actually show nipples in ads on the walls of sex shops! =O
  • There's a red woolies! RED

  • Taxis are Mercedes Benz

My mum was like Mercedes Benz must be cheap over there, screw the souvenier- I want a car! LOL!

  • Casinos require you to wear formal wear! They are very small over here unlike StarCity, but they have a James Bond feel to it. Very fancy and bow ties everywhere. =)

  • Oh, but my favourite one of all (other than the titties) is this

LOL!

Doesn't she look like our yr 12 school captain, Jessica Bent?! =OOOOO I found this poster in front of a fish shop. and cracked up! =D Is Jessica Bent German? o_O?

So jealous much, Cynthia?

P.S. OMG ONE PIECE MOVIE 10 STRONG WORLD HAS PREMIERED!I've been waiting for this day for 2 years!! =OOO I wish I was in Japan for it! They got POSTERS and stuff! =T Now I'm waiting for the crazy fans to first somehow get it and sub it for me!

I bet a banana that this line is longer than the one for Twilight. OP is AWESOMEEEE!
