Day Four
We spent the morning getting the bags back to the main Island and then travelling back to Monkey Islet by cable.
The view was awesome.
Monkey Islet was filled with monkey. I know, biggest shocker. But there were monkeys everywhere. You’d be walking around and then there would be either a monkey walking beside you or dangling above you.
We watched some awesome monkey acts and then we headed off the island for lunch. Before the food even arrived my dad exclaimed that this was the best restaurant in all of China! I was confused, and I was like why? The restaurant didn’t look very impressive. He then pointed at this:
This was the first restaurant we’ve been to during a stay in China that offered free tissue! LOL!!
After lunch, before heading off to a fruit market, my dad was approached by this old man, who grabbed his hand and said that he had a good fortune and with 10 bucks he would be able to tell him where to get it. LOL!! My dad just laughed and said no thanks, and then the old man moved on to the guy next to us.
At the fruit market, I saw this weird fruit. It was like an apple and pear fused together.
We road on another boat to our next stop Jade Bell Beach.
The last stop before the tour ended was a coconut factory. Again, no photos were allowed, but there were allow of free samples! =)
This is a photo of my dad and the tour guide.
And that’s the end of my time at Hainan Island. I had so much fun and would recommend beach lovers to head on over! =D there’s still a lot of things under construction, so in a few years, it’d probably be another paradise on earth.
I fly off to Beijing for a night before a 10 hour flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
So jealous much, Cynthia?
