Euro Woolies

I did a lot today. I went to the  dry cleaners then the doctors in the morning, but the wait was so long, I ended up getting my Swine Flu Shot in the afternoon. It still hurts though. T^T I asked my Doctor whether or not I needed additional vaccinations, since I'll be traveling around China as well as Europe. He replied with, "Europe is a very clean place so all you have to worry about is the Swine Flu, but with China, as long as you don't eat shit from the ground, you'll be fine".

LOL! I actually like my doctor, he's very friendly and always asks me about other aspects of my life, that doesn't involve my health. Makes going to the doctors a less painful experience. =) He also told me that when I go to the Airport, I should go to someplace where I get 10% back on the things I bought such as my Camera. You can also get 10% on goods such as watches; stuff that you bought in Australia but you're taking it with you overseas- this is because of the GST. =D

Afterwards, my dad treated me to lunch. Cabramatta has changed quite a fair bit, since the last time I've been. Theres alot of new restaurant, so my dad to me to one and I had yummy duck noodle soup. =) After lunch, my dad and I seperated. I went to the bank and was pleasantly surprised with the new furnishing. Its so pretty now. I met the foreign exchange teller, who was very helpful. I asked him of my options for financing my China and Europe trip. He suggested I use this repaid travel card. Let me spell out the charges this card has:
  • $15 - to buy the actual card
  • $3.50 - ATM withdrawal fee
  • 1% reload amount
  • they charge you if you don't use the card for 3 months
  • they'll charge you to check your account balance at an ATM
I was gob smacked with all the fees. So I asked Albert (the teller) if they'll charge me if I EFTPOS. He was like no. I followed that question with "what if I EFTPOS and withdraw money, like you can at Woolies?" He was like no one has ever asked that before, and so he had to call up someone and they said no fees will apply. YES!~ I'm going to hit the Euro Woolies, and just withdraw there. I mean I had to pay $1700 for 1000 Euros because of the exchange rate. That's already painful enough, and now the bank wants to slowly eat away my money as well. I'm about to cry.

Jessica is going broke.

So jealous much, Cynthia?
