My Mummy

My Mummy came home with this beautiful wooden table/stool (I actually have no idea what it is; but it is the type of furniture/ home decor I like). I love antique/vintage things cause they just have so much character about them. =)

So my Mummy looks at me and was like "Do you want it?"
I, of course, replied with "Yes!"
She responded with "Pfft.. You wish!"

... & I can't believe you thought my mother was nice; but now I know where I get my sarcasm from.

I just realised that I written a lot about my Daddy, but not about my Mummy. This isn't because I love my Daddy more, it's probably because I see my Daddy more. Against the norm, my Mummy goes to work, whilst my Daddy cooks, cleans and takes care of my brother and I. And though, both of my parents love me very much, they don't have the same feelings for each other. To me, their marriage is more like a business relationship. They both have their roles and responsibilities in the marriage, but besides that, they have nothing to do with each other.

For example, tonight my uncles, aunties, cousins and my family went out for dinner at the Bankstown RSL Buffet. I dressed very casually since it was just family, but my mum walked into my room looking pretty glammed up.
I was like "why are you so dressed up?"
"Since your Uncle and Aunt is treating us, its only polite to dress up for them"
"I thought Dad was paying"
"Oh, I'll go change then"

LOL! I laughed! Even though my parents are like this, I don't think I'm missing out on anything. I love them both very much! =)

So jealous much, Cynthia?
